Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer or a coating machine capable of surely hardening an ink or varnish even in the irradiation of a light having a small light irradiation energy.SOLUTION: The highly reactive type ink printed on a paper 10 by the pre-printing face-printing units 3A, 3B or the post-printing face-printing units 4A, 4B is hardened by a light which is irradiated from ozoneless lamps of the light irradiation units 52, 72 and has a wide range wavelength region having the wavelength of the lower limit of 260-300 nm and the upper limit of 380-420 nm. A pair of rollers which come into contact with each other of four rollers constituting a water feed unit for feeding the dampening water to respective plate cylinders 17 of the printing units 3A, 3B, 4A, 4B are rotatably driven so as to inversely slip.
