Abstract:
To provide a technique capable of printing an object image even if a printer fails to generate print data utilizing image data representing the object image.SOLUTION: A printer is configured to: receive first image data representing an object image from a server, the first image data having a first data format; receive second image data representing the object image from the server, the second image data having a second data format; use the first image data to try to generate first print data; use and print the first print data when the generation of the first print data is successful; use, when failing to generate the first print data as the first image data includes specific information, the second image data which does not include the specific information to generate second print data; and use and print the second print data when failing to generate the first print data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
