Abstract:
To provide a printer, a control method and a control program of the printer which can improve the printing efficiency by preventing the occurrence of a jam due to catching of a sheet corner part with a simple method.SOLUTION: A printer comprises a control unit 4 which controls a first drive unit 2A, a second drive unit 2B and a third drive unit 2C according the detection result of a first detection unit 3A. The control unit 4 controls the third drive unit 2C so as to lift a printing head unit 1 from the detection of an end position of a sheet P along the first direction (arrow A-B direction) by the first detection unit 3A to the movement of the sheet P over a prescribed distance (L) and lower the printing head unit 1 after the movement of the prescribed distance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
