Abstract:
To make it possible to perform printing on all labels.SOLUTION: A printer performs printing on a label continuous body in which labels are located at prescribed intervals on a long mount. According to this printer, a label pitch is calculated from a downstream side end part of a first label which is detected by a second detection unit for detecting a label end part, and an upstream side end part of the first label, and when the calculated label pitch is smaller than a distance from a first detection unit for specifying a printing start position of a label to a printing unit, the label continuous body is transported to a printing start position of a second label on the basis of the calculated label pitch.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
