To prevent occurrence of an error such as paper jam during double-side printing treatment.
In the printer device, a determination mechanism for determining hardness of printing paper is provided on a printer device body and it is measured immediately before performing printing treatment whether or not the hardness of the printing paper itself set in the printer device is adapted to double-side printing.
