To provide a printer driver for easily suppressing useless print by making it possible to set the upper limit value of the number of copies of print corresponding to the purpose of a user for each piece of personal information included in print information without making it necessary to confirm the user before performing the print operation.

A printer driver 1 connected through a communication line 3 to a printer 2 is provided with a print information output means 4 for outputting print information; an upper limit value acquiring means 5 for acquiring the upper limit value of the number of copies of print corresponding to output print information among upper limit value storage information 10 of the number of copies of print preliminarily set for each of plurality of types of print information based on the output print information, and for outputting the acquired upper limit and an upper limit value changing means 6 for determining whether or not the number of copies of print input by a user exceeds the acquired upper limit value, and for changing the input number of copies of print to the acquired upper limit value when it is determined that the input number of copies of print exceeds the acquired upper limit value.
