Abstract:
To provide a printer for enhancing productivity, having low energy consumption, and capable of restraining a wrinkling phenomenon to an allowable limit.
This invention relates to the printer having a paper feeding system for feeding printing paper to a printing mechanism, and a paper processing system for applying wrinkle preventive processing to the paper. The printer has a humidity sensor arranged so as to detect humidity of surrounding air, and a control system for controlling the paper processing system in response to the detected humidity.
