Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer with an image recorder capable of preventing an emulsification of an ink, an image data forming apparatus used for the printing plate recorder and the printing plate recorder.
SOLUTION: The image data forming apparatus 20 comprises an image data input editor 21, an RIP processor 22 for converting to binary image. data D1, a banded region data memory 23 for storing banded region data corresponding to a long-sized banded region along a printing width direction, a banded region specifying unit 24 for specifying a color of the banded region, a banded region data reader 25, a synthetic unit 26 for synthesizing the RIPed image data D1 and the read banded region data D2, and a transmitter 27. An operator selects the color of the banded region to be added to printing, and adds the banded region data to the image data based on the color. The added region is provided along a printing sheet width so that a predetermined or more amount of an ink is consumed. Thus, an excess emulsification brought about due to a small ink amount consumption is prevented.
