Abstract:
To provide a printer comprising a function for inserting a slip sheet, the printer capable of improving user convenience when the printer runs out of the slip sheet or the like, and the like.SOLUTION: A printer having a slip sheet insertion function includes: a plurality of paper feeding ports; a print mechanism performing printing onto a sheet fed from the paper feeding port; and a control part controlling the print mechanism. When the print mechanism feeds a slip sheet from the paper feeding port for feeding the slip sheet, in the case where the slip sheet does not exist in the paper feeding port for feeding the slip sheet, the control part selects the paper feeding port different from the paper feeding port for feeding the slip sheet as the paper feeding port for feeding a new slip sheet on the basis of a sheet type of the sheet used for printing of printing object data and settings of the paper feeding ports.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
