Abstract:
To surely prohibit the movement of a press roller during detection of empty feeding by a paper sensor, regarding a printer for performing stencil printing and a printing pressure control method.SOLUTION: A solenoid for controlling a press hook is turned OFF (t0 of (a-2) or (b-2)) by timing before starting printing and timing when transfer of ink to a present printing medium by pressure contact of a press roller is finished and the press roller separates from a printing drum in synchronization with rotation of the printing drum, and the movement of the press roller is prohibited. The state of prohibiting the movement of the press roller is released and the press roller is made into a state of synchronizing with the rotation of the printing drum by timing when the paper sensor detects feeding of printing paper P (t10 of (a-2)). The state of prohibiting the movement of the press roller is continued during detection of empty feeding (t9' of (b-2)).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
