Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer causing a user to select a desired design by a simple operation procedure and causing printing to be executed, and further to provide a printing method.SOLUTION: A printer comprises a display section and a print section. The display section displays a print menu 77 specifying printing. The printing menu 77 includes: a preview image display region 771 displaying a plurality of preview images generated on the basis of at least one of layout information and contents; a preview switching section 773 switching objects to be displayed out of the plurality of preview images generated and selecting the objects to be displayed; and a printing instruction section 775 instructing the print section to print on the basis of at least one of the layout information and the contents corresponding to the preview images.
