The printer automatically searches history information even in modes other than a mode for utilizing the history information when executing printing, cancels remaining data reception when the history information of image data of the same printing setting is stored and shortening data reception time by making printing with the image data stored in the history information, and the printing system and the printing method are also disclosed.
