Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a log to be simply acquired from external equipment concerning a printer and a printing system.SOLUTION: A printing system 1 comprises: a terminal 11 having a terminal control section 30 for transmitting an authentication request and for transmitting a request for a log file LF (data including a log) subsequent to success of authentication on the basis of the authentication request; and a printer 10 having a control section 20 for performing the authentication in response to the authentication request by a printing section 21 performing printing, a second communication interface 24 communicating with the terminal 11 and a function of an SSH server software SW1 and for transmitting the log file LF related to the printing section 21 to the terminal 11 when receiving the request from the terminal 11 subsequent to the success of the authentication on the basis of the authentication request.
