Abstract:
To provide a printer that improves throughput of printing.SOLUTION: A printer comprises: a communication line selection unit that selects whether to receive print data by using one communication line corresponding to a first network buffer or receive print data by using a plurality of communication lines corresponding to a plurality of network buffers including the first network butter and a second network buffer different from the first network buffer, on the basis of vacant capacity of the first network buffer and the size of print data in a case where the size of the print data is informed of from a terminal device; and a division ratio calculation unit that calculates a division ratio for the print data, on the basis of vacant capacities of the plurality of network buffers including the vacant capacity of the first network buffer and vacant buffer of the second network buffer in a case where the communication line selection unit selects receiving the print data by using the plurality of communication lines.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
