Title:
PRINTER WITH LABEL EXFOLIATION MECHANISM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003267331
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To eliminate the loss of a label, i.e., when a label is issued by an exfoliation/issue mode and the back end of a printed label is cut by a cutting means for a label roll to be wound and removed from a printer, in order to issue a label by the exfoliation/issue mode after resetting the label roll on the printer, a label which is not the front of the unprinted labels faces a printing means and the labels with the unprinted label between the printing means and the exfoliation means are not printed and discarded.

When a label 4 with a mount is issued by an exfoliation/issue mode and is removed from a printer 1, the label 4 is transported in a reverse direction until a resettable position on a long mount 41 faces a cutting means 9 where the long mount 41 can be set again relative to exfoliation means 101, 102 and 103.
