Abstract:
To provide a printer in which an operability of a release lever is enhanced when the sheet passage is switched and visibility of the position display of the release lever is enhanced while reducing the size and cost of the printer.
The release lever 6 is fixed rotatably on a platen to the same end side as a platen knob 5. The position display of the release lever 6 comprises a display section projecting from a case into the hollow section of the translucent platen knob 5.
