Abstract:
To achieve stabilization of a printing density by an inexpensive constitution.
The printer 1 comprises a printing head 31, an ink ribbon 33, a DC motor 41 and a control unit 19. The printing head 31 is of a dot impact type. The ink ribbon 33 is conveyed to a position opposed to the printing head 31 while it is impregnated with ink. The DC motor 41 moves the ink ribbon 33 relatively to the printing head 31. The control unit 41 changes a relative moving speed of the ink ribbon 33 to the printing head 31 through ON/OFF timing control of changing over an ON state and an OFF state of the DC motor 41.
