To provide a printer capable of performing a printing with high accuracy by way of using both of an offset printing system and an ink jet system together.
The printing pattern printed in a printing paper is divided into the first printing region printed with the offset printing system and the second printing region printed with the ink jet system. The first printing region is printed with color using an offset press, and the second printing region is printed with monochrome by an ink jet printer. In this case, since a monochrome printing is performed by the ink jet system, the ink can be prevented from staining or offsetting in the printing paper. When the image data after printing is photographed and a gap arises in the relative position of the printing region with the offset printing system and the printing region with the ink jet system in the image data, the position gap can be corrected by correcting the printing position with the ink jet printer.
