Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which improves operability at the time of turning an open/close cover into the closed state.SOLUTION: In order to turn an open/close cover 4 of a printer into the closed state, the downward force is applied to the upper surface of a link mechanism 30 of a head bracket 15 through a salient 12 provided on the tip of the open/close cover 4 by pressing down the open/close cover 4, and the link mechanism 30 is bent into the dogleg shape. Thereby, the head bracket 15 is energized in a direction approaching the open/close cover 4, the end of a platen roller shaft 9 attached to the tip of the open/close cover 4 is fitted into a fitting groove 15a of the head bracket 15, and the open/close cover 4 is turned into the closed state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12
