Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device that can improve maintainability when provided with a cover part for covering a conveyance passage for media.SOLUTION: A printing device 1 comprises a cover part 25 for covering at least part of a conveyance passage 8 for conveying media 100. In the cover part 25, at least portion of a part covering the conveyance passage 8 is configured so as to be freely expanded and shrunk. This allows an area covering the conveyance passage 8 in the cover part 25 to be enlarged and reduced as needed, so that when setting the media 100 and when jamming occurs, the cover part 25 can be shrunk in a conveying direction of the media 100. Further, even when the cover part 25 is once moved from a state of covering the conveyance passage 8, the cover part can be easily restored to an original position, and the part of the conveyance passage 8 can be easily brought into a state of being covered with the cover part 25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
