Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which reliably carries out inspection when required, by preventing a quality inspection device from not being actuated.SOLUTION: The printer includes: an image capturing device (a camera 14) which captures a print result onto a printing medium as image data; a concentration control device 30 which uses the image data captured by the image capturing device (the camera 14) to adjust an ink supply amount; and a quality inspection device 40 which uses the image data captured by the image capturing device (the camera 14) for quality inspection. When a concentration value of the image data reaches a target concentration value according to the concentration control device 30, the printer is configured to automatically start processing using the quality inspection device 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
