Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of acquiring Z-folded printed matter while suppressing enlargement and complication of an apparatus.SOLUTION: A control unit 5 performs control so that a slack amount of a sheet P associated with paper feeding rollers 12 becomes a slack amount set to deliver a sheet P while nipping for a register roller pair 15 to fold the slack amount of the sheet P to form a Z-folded portion at a tip of the sheet P and when the tip of the Z-folded portion reaches a nip point between a printing drum 31 and a press roller 33, temporarily drives the register roller pair 15 nipping the sheet P on rear end side from the Z-folded portion in a reverse rotation direction with respect to that during paper delivery to a printing unit 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
