Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can transport continuous-form paper while accurately maintaining the continuous-form paper at a predetermined height position.SOLUTION: A floating device 15 is provided at the downstream side of a printing cylinder 13. The floating device 15 includes an upstream side feed roller 32 and a downstream side feed roller 33 for feeding continuous-form paper 100. A floating panel 31 is disposed at a position below a transport level line of the continuous-form paper 100 formed by the upstream side feed roller 32 and the downstream side feed roller 33. A number of air jet ports facing upward are formed in the floating panel 31. The continuous-form paper 100 transported by the upstream side feed roller 32 and the downstream side feed roller 33 is floated by air from the air jet holes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
