Abstract:
To provide a printer capable of detecting marks printed on a medium with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A printer 11 includes: a transport part 40 which rotates while sandwiching a medium S to transport the medium S in a transport direction Y; a support part 33 which is disposed at the downstream side of the transport part in the transport direction and has a support surface 36 for supporting the medium transported by the transport part; a printing part 53 which is disposed facing the support part and can print images and marks G on the medium; and a detection part 70 for detecting the marks printed on the medium by the printing part when prints are made on both surfaces of the medium. The detection part is disposed at the downstream side of the transport part in the transport direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
