Abstract:
To provide a printer adapted to easily determine an insertion position of an insertion sheet by a simple structure while suppressing the consumption of consumable supplies.SOLUTION: A printer (stencil printer ) comprises: a first roller (pickup roller 22) that transports a sheet P; a second roller (secondary paper feeding roller 26) that is arranged downstream of the first roller with respect to a transport direction D of the sheet P and transports the sheet P; driving means (first drive motor M1 and second drive motor M2) that drives at least one of the first roller and the second roller; and a control section that controls the driving means to form a fold P0b in the sheet by inserting a sheet (insertion sheet P0) that is in a state of being loosened between the first roller and the second roller at one time into the second roller on both sides of a looseness P0a with respect to the transport direction D.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6B
