Abstract:
To replace components near an inner cover easily without removing the inner cover.SOLUTION: A printer of the invention has a transport roller 82 which is provided at a position facing a printing part for making prints and with which a transported sheet is brought into pressure-contact during printing by the printing part. The printer includes: support members 51, 52, 53 supporting both ends of the transport roller; and a cover member 54 which pivotally supports both ends of the transport roller with the support members. The cover member is held by the support members so as to be movable between a first position where the cover member pivotally supports the transport roller with the support members and a second position where the cover member releases pivotal support of the transport roller and supports the transport roller in a manner that the transport roller can be detached from the support members.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
