Abstract:
To suppress hindrance in printing processing due to the shortage of a free memory quantity when creating raster data by analyzing an object of an image file.SOLUTION: A computer 11 of a printer 10 executes resource monitoring processing of increasing a free memory quantity of a memory 12 by reducing data extracted from an object stored in the memory 12 when the free memory quantity of the memory 12 becomes a prescribed state during execution of raster data creation processing. The prescribed state is such a state that the free memory quantity of the memory 12 is smaller than the free memory quantity of the memory before execution of the raster data creation processing and a prescribed condition is established.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
