Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform high-grade recording, in a printer equipped with a full line recording head, by correcting the irregularity of the operation between many drive circuits in the recording head or the density irregularity of a recording image caused by the temp. change or temp. gradient in the recording head.
CONSTITUTION: In order to control main pulse widths (T3) at every 11 ICs mounted on a recording head, T3 count circuits 1221-1232 and T3 selection circuits 1241-1252 emit heat signals (K-MH1*-MH11*, C-MH1*-MH11*, M- MH1*-MH11*, Y-MH1*-MH11*) on the basis of the data stored in the EEPROM of the recording head so as to obtain proper main pulses at every ICs of the recording head corresponding to respective inks. A pulse interval T2 is determined from the temp. gradient in the recording head.
