Abstract:
To provide a printer which can improve print quality.SOLUTION: A thermal printer 1 includes an MCU 24 which controls a value of an acceleration pointer 45 and decreases conveyance residual quantity by one whenever allowing a stepping motor 30 to perform one-step operation, starts deceleration in the stepping motor 30 when a sum of the conveyance residual quantity and a value of a stop rate pointer 46 (set as an acceleration step corresponding to a stop rate without generation of a non-printing part) is the value of the acceleration pointer 45 or less, and stops the stepping motor 30 if the conveyance residual quantity becomes 0.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
