Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which eases burden on a user in inserting a roll body.SOLUTION: A printer includes: a storage part of a roll body; guide parts arranged inside the storage part and having a pair of abutment faces abutting on both side faces of the roll body in order to guide the roll body; and a holding part that is movable between a first position in which it projects inward from the abutment faces and a second position in which it does not project inward from the abutment faces, and that is energized from the second position toward the first position in order to rotatably hold the roll body in the first position. A first inclined surface is formed on the holding part so that, when the roll body is inserted into the storage part, the holding part moves from the first position to the second position according to movement of the roll body in an inserted direction after abutting on the holding part. The first inclined surface is constituted in a shape allowing contact at two points on an outer peripheral surface of the roll body that are located at different positions in a circumferential direction of the outer peripheral surface of the roll body, when the roll body is inserted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
