PURPOSE: To conduct accurate printing, even if a machine glazed paper is composed of a heat-shrinkable material, by providing a cooling apparatus for cooling a printing drum.

CONSTITUTION: A printing drum 6 is provided with a cooling apparatus 31 for cooling said drum. This cooling apparatus 31 is equipped with a cooling water passage 32 formed like bellows in the printing drum 6 and this cooling water passage 32 is drawn out to the outside via a rotary joint. The cooling apparatus 31 of any constitution can be used when it can cool the printing drum 6, by blowing a cold air against the printing drum 6, etc. Because the printing drum 6 is cooled by the cooling apparatus 31, the printing drum 6 is prevented from reaching a high temperature by the heat of the ultraviolet lamp, etc., of a print-fixing means. Therefore, even if a machine glazed paper is composed of a heat-shrinkable material, it is possible to prevent the heat shrinkage of the machine glazed paper to conduct accurate printing.
