PURPOSE: To provide a high accurate printer detecting the position of the mark printed on a work preliminarily to apply the correction of a relative position at the time of the next positioning of the work and successively performing printing while timely correcting the printing shift caused by a change with the elapse of time such as the swelling of the rubber of a blanket due to ink.
CONSTITUTION: In a printer performing the printing to a work 2 after the transfer of the ink on an original form 4 to a blanket 6, the position and inclination of a printing mark after printing are detected by the rail 5 guiding the original form to the blanket 6, the original form table 3 holding the original form 4 moving on the rail 5, the work table 1 performing the positioning of the work 2 on X-, Y- and θ-axes to support the work in a detachable manner and the cameras 7a, 7b detecting a mark position not only to calculate the correction quantity of a relative position with respect to the next positioning of the work but also to perform positioning correction on the basis of the correction quantity of the relative position.
