Abstract:
To reduce possibility that a printed matter unintended by a user is output in a printing apparatus including both a sheet storage part capable of detecting a size of a stored sheet and a sheet storage part incapable of detecting a size of a stored sheet.
A printing apparatus includes: a first sheet storing part not including a sensor for detecting a size of a sheet; a second sheet storing part including a sensor for detecting a size of a sheet; and a controller for controlling the second sheet storing part including the sensor for detecting the size of the sheet based on existence of the sensor so that the second sheet storing part preferentially conveys a sheet.
