Abstract:
To wind up a medium after printing with a more appropriate configuration in a printing apparatus.SOLUTION: A printing apparatus for printing on a medium includes a print execution unit, a conveying mechanism, and a winding unit 18. The winding unit 18 has: a plurality of roll holders 202 for holding the medium that is wound around a paper tube 52, which is a core member, by holding each of one end and the end of the paper tube 52; and an end face guide 204 for guiding the position of the end face of the medium wound around the paper tube 52. The end face guide 204 surrounds the paper tube 52 in a peripheral direction of the paper tube 52 in a range with a gap equal to or larger than the width of the paper tube 52.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
