To provide a printing apparatus that does not perform preliminary feeding even if paper is deformed and printing ratio is high, and does not perform double feeding even if the paper is low in printing ratio, and can perform highly accurate and reliable feeding.

The printing apparatus includes: a printing part 3 which prints images in ink on the paper P; a belt type carrying-out device 12 which carries out the paper printed by the printing part from a storage part 4; a suction part 25 which makes a belt of the carrying-out device suck the paper; and a control part which controls suction force of the suction part according to the printing ratio of the paper. When a printing ratio is relatively large, the suction force is relatively increased, and when the printing ratio is relatively small, the suction force is relatively decreased. The belt feeding part can always and stably feed the printed paper.
