Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out following data printing by being given priority by interrupting editing or printing being in process as a command is given for implementing editing and printing by being given priority to data received at another receptacle in the course of implementing editing or printing of data received at either one of two receptacles, and resume the process from an interrupting point of data where the editing and printing are interrupted as the priority output printing is completed.
SOLUTION: Two pieces of receptacles for receiving printing data from exterior devices are arranged, and an operation panel 3 is disposed at either one of these to receptacles for designating a receptacle priority mode which gives priority to the received printing data process of a normal mode which effects the process in the order of priority, and when a receptacle priority order switching command is inputted in either one of aforementioned two pieces of the receptacles, a switchover is done into a receptacle priority mode or a normal mode in accordance with the instruction of the command.
