Title:
PRINTING BLANKET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3614581
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relatively simply suppress release of an end region of a blanket by stitching a blanket body with a yarn in a width direction of the body in at least one end region provided with a strip.
SOLUTION: A thin strip 18 made, for example, steel is fixed to a rear surface of an end region of a base material 13 of a blanket body with adhesive 19. The body is stitched through the material 13, a compressible layer 14, reinforcing cloth 15 and rubber layer 17 in its width direction with a yarn at the end region of the body fixed with the strip 18. Most preferably, they are stitched separately by two yarns 20, 21. The yarn desirably particularly has a thickness of about 60 of count. To satisfy both predetermined strength in a thickness range and adhesive properties to the strip as the material of the yarn, Vinylon and nylon is particularly preferable. Stitching width is normally 2 to 4mm.
