PURPOSE: To produce a cotton high-pile blanket printed with the same pattern on the top and the back faces by printing a piled face of cotton high-pile blanket fabric with a non-oily color paste and steaming the printed blanket in wet state to accelerate the permeation of the color paste.

CONSTITUTION: The piled face of cotton high-pile blanket fabric is printed to the base of the cotton piles with a color paste other than oily or semi-oily paste and the printed fabric is steamed in wet state to accelerate the permeation of the color paste. The piles on the piled face are raked out to the back face to obtain the objective blanket printed with a clear pattern free from color- splitting and run and having the same patterns on the top and the back faces.
