Abstract:
To provide a printing cassette capable of inputting driving force to both a spool and a gear therein from a drive shaft, while suppressing enlargement in size.SOLUTION: The present disclosure is a printing cassette which can be attached to and removed from a printer body including an axially rotating drive shaft. The printing cassette includes: a first tape; a spool which is rotatable about a rotational axis parallel to a first direction, and to which the first tape is wound or the first tape will be wound; a first engagement part which is disposed on the spool in order to transmit driving force of the drive shaft to the spool; and an input gear which is disposed at a position different from that of the spool in the first direction, and engages with another gear, in order to transmit driving force of the drive shaft to the other gear. In a state of being mounted to a printer body, the first engagement part and the input gear engage with the drive shaft at mutually different positions in the first direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
