To prevent a situation that, in printing on a target printing medium to be cut, a cut target printing medium is not ejected from a printing device.SOLUTION: A control unit 110 of a printer 1 acquires first print data and second print data, causes a printing unit 162 to perform first printing on a target printing medium 3, based on the acquired first printing data, and causes the printing unit 162 to perform second printing on the target printing medium 3, based on the acquired second printing data. In this case, if at least one of the length of a first cut piece of the target printing medium 3, generated based on the first printing data, and the length of a second cut piece of the target printing medium 3, generated based on the second printing data, is shorter than a predetermined shortest length, the control unit sets so that a cutting unit 163 does not make a cut between a first printing area printed by the first printing and a second printing area printed by the second printing, in the target printing medium 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
