Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which causes a real time command to be properly executed without causing the real time command to be erroneously operated, and can perform processing of image data at a high speed.SOLUTION: When a command received by a first storage section is an image command of a first command, a control section transfers a predetermined number of image data subsequently received from the first storage section to a predetermined address of a second storage section by an inter-memory transfer system, and develops and stores the image data transferred as printing execution data in a fourth storage section. When a command received by the first storage section is a third command, the control section transfers a predetermined number of compressed image data subsequently received from the first storage section to a predetermined address of the third storage section by the inter-memory transfer system, and develops and stores the compressed image data transferred as the printing execution data in the fourth storage section while decompressing the compressed image data transferred.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
