Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To summarizedly print even such a document of a small size as not to be supported by a printer on printing paper without changing applications nor printers. SOLUTION: A printer controller presents a paper size which is smaller than a minimum paper size that is supported by the printer as a paper size which can be handled by the printer to an application. A user selects a paper size on the basis of presented information. When the paper selected by the user is smaller than the minimum paper size supported by the printer, printing data from the application are summarized, after that, are subjected to plotting processing and transmitted to the printer.
