Abstract:
To provide a printing device and an electronic device that reduce the possibility that the device cannot be used due to the life of a push button type switch as compared with a prior art.SOLUTION: A printing device 1 includes a housing 11, a cover 12 that covers an opening 17 of the housing 11, push button type switches 7 to 9 provided on the cover 12, a panel member 30, a key member 40, a pressing member, and a control unit. The panel member 30 is attached to the cover 12. The key member 40 is supported by the panel member 30 so as to be movable relatively to the switches 7 to 9. The pressing member is supported by the key member 40 so that the position thereof with respect to the key member 40 can be changed, and presses one switch corresponding to the position with respect to the key member 40 out of the switches 7 to 9 according to an operation on the key member 40. The control unit assigns the same processing to each of the switches 7 to 9, and executes the processing concerned in response to the pressing member pressing any of the switches 7 to 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
