PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device that can suppress current consumption of a carriage in acceleration.SOLUTION: A printing device includes: a head including a discharge part for discharging liquid; a carriage mounted with the head; a first power unit for moving the carriage; and a second power unit for moving the carriage. The carriage reciprocates while transitioning to a deceleration state from an acceleration state via a constant speed state.
