The printing device includes: an input part for inputting a pattern having an arbitrary shape; a display part for displaying the pattern; a printing part for performing printing; and a control part for controlling the input part, the display part, and the printing part. When the input pattern input from the input part includes a plurality of lines including a first line and a second line, and a margin is formed in at least one of an end part of a first pattern area in which a first pattern of the first line is formed and a front part of a second pattern area in which a second pattern of the second line is formed, the control part performs margin reduction conversion processing to remove the margin and converts the first pattern and the second pattern into one line pattern arrangement in the order, then displays the line by the display unit and prints it on a printing medium to be printed by the printing part.
