Abstract:
PURPOSE: To ensure that a supplementary ink feed operation is surely performed, and long-time continuous printing process is carried out in an ink jet printing device.
CONSTITUTION: In a residual ink check routine(S400) which is performed for each single line printing, an alarm is given (S403), if a flag which indicates that the residual ink amount of an auxiliary tank is below a specified level. On the other hand, a specified number of lines which can be printed, are printed(S410), if the flag is set, and the ink is replenished(S412). Consequently, an operator recognizes an alarm for ink replenishment within a specified time range and can carry out a supplementary ink feed operation.
