Abstract:
To provide a printing device which is configured so that resistance caused by an inserted portion is reduced in fitting a roll holding part to a roll paper core tube.SOLUTION: A printing device, which performs recording on a sheet supplied from a roll having the sheet wound therearound, comprises a roll holding part holding the roll and a support part supporting the roll holding part. The roll holding part has a core part extending in an axial direction, which is inserted into a core tube of the roll from the axial direction, where the core part includes contact members that can be fitted to the core tube to contact an inner wall of the core tube, and an operating mechanism that can perform an operation of pressing the contact members toward the inner wall and an operation of retreating the contact members from the inner wall.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
