Page description language data transmitted from a data generation part are developed into raster picture data, and the developed raster picture data for each page are stored in an HDD for plural pages, and necessary data are selected from the raster picture data stored in the HDD (S11: Y). Moreover, pictures corresponding to the selected raster data are displayed at a display part (S13), and the pictures are position-adjusted by a picture position adjusting means (S15: Y, S17: Y), and a master is prepared according to the position- adjusted raster picture data (S16). Thus, it is not necessary to perform any trial printing for confirming the picture positions.
