Abstract:
To provide a printing device which correctly grasps the residual amount of a roll sheet to avoid waste to users.
An RFID tag 103 with a storage element for storing the residual amount of a roll sheet is added to the roll sheet, while a specified residual amount identifying mark 201 is added to a position in front by a specified length from the terminal of the roll sheet. The specified residual amount identifying mark 201 is detected by a specified amount identifying mark detection means. The residual amount stored in the storage element is corrected corresponding to the specified residual amount identifying mark with the specified residual amount identifying mark detection means.
