Abstract:
To provide a printing device that can adjust a camera to an optimum state while suppressing a decrease in efficiency of the printing device, in the printing device in which a head and the camera are mounted to a carriage.SOLUTION: A printing device includes: a head having a nozzle for discharging ink to a medium M; a camera 61 for imaging a test pattern that is formed on the medium M; a carriage 46 to which the head and the camera 61 are mounted; a platen 45 for supporting the medium M; and a gap adjustment mechanism 70 for moving the camera 61 to adjust a distance between the camera 61 and the platen 45.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
